Rust Never Sleeps
It seems like the work of vandals when the rust attacks. The red rust comes sneaking in on you, corroding your pipes - and your economy.
Water is fascinating. On the one hand beautiful and useful; on the other a major contributor to incurring damaging effects. And first of all, problems in our water piping arise, because we use a lot of water.
To meet the great demand, the waterworks have to blend various water qualities.
Blended water spoils the natural balance of the water and corrodes heavily on the unprotected water piping. It often starts with the water becoming rust-red or slowly leaking through little holes in the pipes - into the hollow spaces under floors or in the walls.
It is better to prevent, however, rarely too late to cure. It is not easy to say where the problem arises. No property can feel secure - apparently corrosion attacks at random.
Once we discovered that in two identical plants within the same community one property experienced excessive corrosion problems, and the other experienced no problems whatsoever. Prevention is better. However, with the right type of water treatment it is rarely too late to save a damaged pipe installation.
